What the client was looking for

Across the soft fruit category, retailers and brand owners were looking to introduce a printable paper punnet that could enhance on-shelf communication and brand storytelling. Any new format needed to align with existing top-seal operations, allowing packers to adopt paper punnets without major investment or disruption to line speeds.

Performance was equally critical at the earliest stages of the supply chain. Punnets needed to withstand in-field picking, cope with moisture, and maintain their shape through blast chilling and onward distribution. Ensuring durability and pack integrity was essential to protecting fruit quality and maintaining operational efficiency.

Working closely with our manufacturing partners at Smurfit Westrock, we developed the EverGrow® range of paper-based, top-seal punnets specifically designed for soft fruit applications. Fully printable, the range enables brands and retailers to create strong shelf impact while clearly communicating product and sustainability messages.

EverGrow® punnets are compatible with existing top-sealing lines, requiring only minimal tooling adjustments, and are available across all UK standard footprints. A water-resistant coating protects against moisture during harvesting and blast chilling, helping the punnet retain its strength and shape throughout the supply chain. Fully recyclable through kerbside collections and extensively field-tested for durability, EverGrow® offers a reliable, scalable paper punnet solution that supports brand presentation, product protection, and operational consistency.
