HGV Driver - Marden

Purpose

To carry out deliveries of food packaging materials to our customer base across the south of England and Midlands.

We operate a range of vehicles from 3.5t vans to 18t LGV’S + trailer with most of our work being within standard operating hours Monday – Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (40 hour working week), during our busy periods additional hours will be required.

My Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Learn about the range of products we sell to ensure customers order requirements are met.
  • Carry out deliveries of goods across to our customers using our fleet of vehicles.
  • Undertake and pass training course for ADR if required.
  • Working alongside the existing Ops team at Marden, you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles with a forklift truck.
  • Assisting the Operations team at Marden with a variety of tasks when not loading or driving. This may include manual work in our box forming depot, site maintenance and general warehouse cleaning in order to maintain our BRCGS accreditation.
  • Where required use of our internal stock management system including picking of customer orders using our WADACO System.
  • Liaison with internal and external customers you will be part of a team that provides first class customer service, representing our business to a high standard.
  • Ensure all compliance checks and protocols are followed and completed.

Skills
