Coronavirus/Covid-19 statement update - June 2022
Now that we are free of restrictions in our everyday lives, Produce Packaging would like to take this opportunity to confirm that we remain committed to best practice and ongoing efforts to minimise the potential impact of Covid on our supply chain and services.
As a valued customer of Produce Packaging and often the wider Hutchinsons Group, we appreciate the trust you place in us to make sure all of your product delivery services continue to operate effectively at all times. We are still committed to an evidence-led and common-sense approach to mitigating any potential future impact on customers, colleagues and our wider business operations.
We remain committed to supporting your business with an unparalleled level of service and we pride ourselves that we are involved in UK food production. We will do everything that we can to support front-line growers and packers to provide safe and reliable food supplies as we begin the return to more recognisable times.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with your normal Produce Packaging contact or the main office number and a member of our team will be happy to help.
With regards our own contingency planning, Produce Packaging have the following controls in place;
– We have for over 10 years complied with the BRCGS – Storage and Distribution modules and so have clear procedures in place to ‘reduce the risk of contamination’.
– We operate from 4 regional sites, if one site were affected, we could operate from one of the other three
We hope the above reassures you of our ability to reduce the risk of any disruption in the supply of packaging materials. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
